Last despatch date will be the 18th December for pre christmas delivery. We will be continuing to ship goods up until the 23rd December however these may not arrive until the new year.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling
All products are shipped discreetly in a plain mailing bag or box, with no indication as to the contents,. All delivery addresses will be copied as per the customer input. If the carrier or post cannot deliver because of incorrect address then we reserve the right to charge an additional supplement. Whilst we try to deliver all goods ordered in accordance with our pledge, we take no responsibility for any consequence of late delivery however caused.
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT - CLAIM TIME LIMITS
It will be your responsibility to inform us immediately of any damage to the delivered goods. Details must be recorded on the delivery documentation, and we must be notified no later than 48 hours after delivery. Do not dispose of any of the packaging as this will be required to effect the claim against the carrier.
SHORTAGE
It is the responsibility of you to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carrier consignment note. If you suspect that there are items missing from delivery, first check that the order has not been partly shipped. Any shortage must be noted on the delivery note and we are to be notified within 24 hours.
INCORRECT GOODS
Notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours of delivery. If the items are not what you ordered, you must not open the manufactures packaging or use the items.We will not exchange or refund for any suspected used garments. It will be your responsibility to notify us of any problems.
NON DELIVERIES
We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 2 days from expected delivery date. We shall accept no liability for shortages, non deliveries, incorrect goods or damaged on delivery outside the stated timescales. Except when extenuating circumstances have prevented the notification within the stated timescale.

* Please note that all of Bridesmaids Dresses / Benjamin Walk Wedding Shoes specify a 7 - 10 working day for delivery, therefore the delivery option you select determines how the order is shipped once we receive the items at our offices for despatch *
We hold a large amount of stock, and aim to despatch all orders within 48 hours for delivery within 3 days. If we are not able to do so, then we will inform you and you may, if you wish, cancel the order and we will fully reimburse you.
We strongly suggest that, upon receipt, you inspect the goods and advise us if the delivered goods are not what you ordered or are faulty.
We will not be under any liability to you for any delay or failure to deliver if the same is wholly or partly caused directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
We will not be liable under our agreement with you for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where i) there is no breach of a legal duty or care owed to you by us or by any of our employees or agents; ii) such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach; iii) any increase in loss or damage results from breach by you of any of these Terms.
We are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by you and us (such as loss of profits or loss of opportunity).
As a consumer, you have certain rights by law regarding the return of defective goods and claims in respect of losses caused by any negligence on our part or our failure to carry out our obligations. These terms and conditions shall not affect those rights.
Delivery Timescales are as follows: -
* Special Delivery - Within 3 working days
* 1st Class Recorded - Within 5 working days
* 2nd Class Recorded - Within 7 working days
* 2 or 3 Pairs of Shoes to a value of over £100.00 will be sent via Parcelforce - Delivery Within 3 Working Days From Despatch.
* Note:- All other orders over £100.00 are automatically sent 1st Class Recorded or Parcelforce, unless Special Delivery is selected on checkout, which is chargeable.
* International Signed For - Please allow 7 - 10 working days.
* Note:- International orders are not subject to the free delivery over £100.00 offer.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will then aim to deliver within 28 days, depending on supplier availability. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is included in the price shown.
This excludes Childrens shoes, as these are exempt from VAT.

Returns Policy
1st For Wedding Shoes are committed to your complete satisfaction, so if you're in any way dissatisfied with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund provided the following steps are taken:-

EXCHANGES 1st For Wedding Shoes will not charge an additional delivery charge for exchanged items. (except for Ireland delivery addresses without a Postcode or other destinations outside the UK, this amount will be deducted from your original payment method)
1) Please complete the enclosed returns form fully and return to us with the item(s) for exchange no later than 14 (fourteen) working days following the day that the goods were received. Our address is specified on the back of the returns form.
If you do not have a returns form, please include a letter with your order number, name, address and contact telephone number along with any other information we may require.
NOTE: - We cannot process any refunds/exchanges without this information.
2) Please return the goods to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact within 14 working days from when the goods were received. Any items that are returned with markings that result in the garment becoming un-sellable will not be credited and will be returned to you, the cost of the postage will be deducted from your payment method. This includes not sticking sellotape to the product packaging or any other materials.
3) We advise you return the items by Royal Mail Recorded delivery which insures you for £39.00 in the event of items being missing or lost.
For items valued over £39.00 in value, please return them Special Delivery for Insurance Purposes, or use any other courier which ensures a signature is obtained from our offices.
Note: We will not be held responsible for missing items returned to us. Should your item go missing with Royal Mail, the customer will be responsible for contacting Royal Mail and issuing a claim.
EXCHANGE OF BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES
Exchanges for bridesmaids dresses will be extended to 28 days to enable you to arrange for the bridesmaids to get together for fitting purposes, we will then exchange any necessary sizes as per your instructions with no additional delivery costs.
If you wish to exchange any items agains, we will need to charge a small postage cost after the first exchange which will be deducted from your original payment method. This covers our postage costs.

For Returns of Bridesmaids Dresses for refund, the item must be returned within the 14 working days deadline. (refer to returns policy below)
REFUNDS
1) Please complete the enclosed returns form fully and return to us with the item(s) for exchange no later than 14 (fourteen) working days following the day that the goods were received. Our address is specified on the back of the returns form.
2) Please return the goods to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn and unwashed, with all labels intact within 14 working days from when the goods were received. 4) Please allow 10 working days from the date we receive your goods back for your refund to be completed and then a further 3 working days for this to appear on your account. You will be e-mailed to nofify you of when the refund has been completed.
*Your refund may be slightly delayed due to Bank/Public Holidays or Company Shutdown Periods such as Christmas*
Where you do cancel your order, you are under a duty (until the goods are returned to us) to retain possession of them and take reasonable care of them.
5) When you return your order the goods must be returned to us at your cost, however we will not charge an additional delivery cost for exchanges of our items, this can be for any other products/sizes.
NO refunds will be given unless we receive the goods safely, with the necessary documentation and within our deadline under any circumstances.
We will not accept returns of items which are designed to be worn next to the skin (this applies to lingerie).
We do not reimburse any original delivery costs charged nor bleaching or dyeing costs.
We will not accept returns of Vollers Corsets as these are made to order, however you will be offered an exchange for another size/colour or entirely different product to the value of the original order.
We do not charge a restocking fee for returns however for all orders returned for refund outside of the UK, the delivery charge originally paid by Girls Of Elegance will be retained and not reimbursed. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO UK ORDERS.
For all orders returned after we have already exchanged the item, a refund will be made less a small 10% deduction.
This ensures that we recover the postage cost paid by us for the exchanged goods of which we do not charge the customer.
If you wish to exchange the item again, we will need to charge a postage cost which will be deducted from your original payment method.
Any returns that are sent back to us that incur customs charges our end will be deducted from the total of the refund, We will not be liable for this cost under any circumstances.
